We have three major improvements to BEE builder this month. 

Users may now decide whether specific content properties will be displayed on mobile browsers. If you click on a content property's "Mobile" icon while in Mobile Design Mode, the changes you make will only apply to the mobile output.

This feature is available for the following content block properties. Please note that not all content blocks have the same properties available.

Padding

Alignment

Font size

Also, to simplify Mobile Design Mode even more, the Font size and Text Direction properties are now on the sidebar menu for all content blocks.

End-users may now track the changes performed in the Mobile stage from the history.

Prior to this release, the only way to separate content between mobile or desktop was to leverage " Hide on Mobile ". While this technique is effective for most use cases, it does require that users duplicate content blocks that need different formatting.

The improvements performed with this release, instead, eliminate the need to duplicate content for the supported content types and properties, saving time and effort.

These update is enabled by default when Mobile Design Mode is turned on via developers.beefree.io .

Users may now set a row or column level border.

The Content area border settings are available in the Rows tab in the sidebar.

NOTE: Most MS Outlook email clients do not support border widths above 8 pixels. If Outlook rendering is an important consideration for you, please take this limitation into account in your design strategy.

Borders help create organization, separation and relationship of elements within a design. This feature allows user to organize content reliably by row or column instead of by content block.

Content area borders are available automatically for all builders. No administrative action is required.

Users may now adjust the corner radius in a row-level border to create "rounded" corners.

The Content area border property settings are available in the " Rows " tab in the sidebar. Users may edit the radius of all four corners or control individual ones by clicking on "More options".

NOTE: Most MS Outlook email clients do not support rounded corners. If Outlook rendering is an important consideration for you, please take this limitation into account in your design strategy.

This update is an enhancement to our existing Custom Add-on feature.  Developers may now create an array of elements to quickly assemble advanced content types into a single content block. 

The Mixed Content Custom AddOn is completely customizable. This feature allows the user experience to be crafted to suit the needs of the target audience or type of content you want to represent.

These content blocks may be configured individually by using the content properties available in the sidebar menu.

This improvement represents an expansion of the Custom AddOn feature beyond custom HTML. Users of this feature may now fully leverage the power of BEE builder's content block library where supported. They can now access the properties for each individual block included in the mixed content and style it accordingly. This provides more flexibility and freedom during the design process.
